DIRECTV Leadership Formula character illustrations
Role: Illustrations for a motion graphics project, featured here.
Background: The storyboard originally included characters that were ultimately cut from the final video.
Approach: The script refers to all employees having the potential to be leaders, regardless of having direct reports. I designed characters that reflect our diverse culture.
I later modified the cuter, rounded designs to a slightly more adult-like look by narrowing the shapes and sharpening the noses.
